About the Role
Skill Stand In is looking for credentialed public health professionals to challenge, evaluate, and refine how AI understands population health, epidemiology, biostatistics, and health policy.
This is a remote, flexible contract role. Your graduate-level knowledge is used to test AI reasoning and keep health-related outputs aligned with scientific evidence.
What You’ll Do
- Review advanced public health scenarios, including outbreak analysis, health equity assessments, and statistical interpretation of clinical or population data.
- Evaluate whether AI-generated health advice and policy recommendations are factually accurate, ethically sound, and appropriately cautious.
- Check epidemiological reasoning, including whether the work distinguishes correlation from causation and communicates risk clearly.
- Compare AI conclusions with peer-reviewed research and guidance from authorities such as the CDC and WHO.
- Flag misinformation, flawed logic, missing context, and bias that could affect diverse populations.
- Provide structured expert feedback that improves the depth and scientific quality of AI outputs.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology, or a closely related field.
- Working knowledge of epidemiology, biostatistics, or population health.
- Ability to interpret scientific research, healthcare data, and public-health guidance.
- Experience assessing health policy, program design, or health equity questions is a plus.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
